For over 30 years the physicians of Radiological Consultants Association have been serving the residents of Dallas-Fort Worth. The clinical and specialized expertise of our board certified, fellowship trained radiologists allows us to provide the highest quality medical imaging and intervention in the most efficient manner possible. • Standard Radiography, including conventional x-rays, fluoroscopy, gastrointestinal and genitourinary imaging, arthrography, and DEXA scanning (bone densitometry).

• Advanced Body Imaging utilizing the most sophisticated, currently-available applications in ultrasound, CT (computed tomography), and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).  CT screening studies in high-risk patients is also available, including CT lung screening for lung cancer, CT cardiac screening for coronary atherosclerosis, and CT colonography screening for colon cancer.

• Cardiovascular Imaging including CT cardiac calcium scoring, coronary CTA (CT angiography), cardiac MRI, coronary MRA (MR angiography), radionuclide cardiac stress testing, and CTA & MRA of the central and peripheral blood vessels.

• Neuroradiology utilizing ultrasound, CT, and MRI of the entire central nervous system.  Sophisticated neuro-vascular imaging of the head and neck using conventional angiography, duplex Doppler ultrasound, CTA (CT angiography), and MRA (MR angiography).

• Musculoskeletal Imaging & Pain Management utilizing standard radiography, conventional arthrography, CT, MR, MR arthrography, and ultrasound.  Pain management procedures including imaging-guided epidural steroid injections, selective nerve root and facet blockade, SI (sacro-iliac) joint injections, and large joint steroid injections.

• Oncologic Imaging using state-of-the-art PET (positron emission tomography) and PET-CT fusion imaging.

• Interventional Radiology including peripheral, renal, and carotid angiography, angioplasty, and endovascular stent placement.  Uterine artery fibroid embolization, percutaneous biliary and genitourinary procedures, image-guided biopsies, short- and long-term vascular access, vertebroplasty-kyphoplasty, and interventional oncology procedures (chemotherapy port placement, tumor embolization, radiofrequency tumor ablation, and Y90 yttrium therapy).

• Comprehensive Breast Imaging offering standard mammography, digital mammography, R2 CAD (computer-aided detection), breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.  Complete array of imaging-guided breast interventions, including breast biopsy, aspiration, and pre-operative breast lesion wire localization.
